 – the new way to access GP Services

Delivering a radical digital first transformation in the way patients access services from their GP utilising online consultations.

Watch this video to see how practices are streamlining all their patient requests and saving practice resources using FootFall’s digital triage.

The Digital Practice

FootFall is designed to help patients navigate their way to find help in exactly the way they would if they walked into reception. The home page of FootFall is clearly laid out to help patients manage their health more easily and request advice from a health professional.

It means people are getting the help they need quicker and more conveniently. For practices it reduces the pressure on phone, helps them manage their time more effectively and keep face to face appointment for those who really need it.

Digital Triage

Digital Triage Appointments

Practices can use FootFall to digitally triage their appointments. This approach encourages patients to go online and request advice or an appointment without having to phone the practice.

Assign requests to right person, service or support

Patients can ask questions and report symptoms. The practice then looks at the request and responds within a stated timeframe, connecting the patient to the right person, service or support.

Stay on top of the patient requests

Never miss a request from a patient; get notified when the request is approaching its deadline for response.

Find out how Fakenham Medical Practice has reduced waiting times for appointments from four weeks to 72 hours using FootFall and a digital triage approach.

Video Consultations

FootFall’s video consultation feature enables GPs to continue treating patients even if their surgery is force to close and can be deployed where the increased demand on GP services means that patients cannot get regular appointments.

  • Patients are able to access video consultations directly through any modern browser via a smartphone, tablet, laptop or and desktop with a webcam.
  • Consultations are not recorded in accordance with NHS Digital requirements.
  • Appointments are organised and initiated by the practice.

What Practices are saying about FootFall

Our staff love using the system as it allows us more time to answer patient request and to do so at a time that is convenient to us, rather than the “on demand “service which the phone or a visit to the surgery requires. At first we had just two or three members of the team who are familiar with using the system, but ow the entire surgery actively receives and responds to patient communication from the digital practice.

Certificate Issue

This morning we were alerted to a certificate issue with one of our suppliers. This issue resulted in an error appearing on some sites that stated that the site was insecure or that your connection is not private. We have now replaced the suppliers certificates on affected sites with our own to fix the error message and restore the sites.
